Does Zelus Academy have publishing guidelines?

To ensure a seamless learning experience for our community of users, we request you to adhere to these common video guidelines while creating and curating content.

  • Keep the lessons short (5-10 minutes) and structure them such that they’re easy to consume.
  • Include an introduction video that explains what the course is all about, and establish credibility by sharing a bit about your experience and expertise.
  • Start each lesson with a brief intro that summarises what was covered in the previous lesson and what would be covered in the present video.
  • Add text (supers or superimposed titles below the video frame) to highlight important aspects such as the name of a new technique being demonstrated.
  • Adopt a high-quality audio and video format to maintain the interest of the viewers.
    • Clear audio without any distracting background noises.
    • High-resolution video (1080p) shot with a stable camera and good lighting. Make sure natural light sources (such as windows) are behind the camera, with the light falling on your face.
    • Take care that background music (if added) is soft and doesn't drown out the voice overs.
